Charity & Community

Charity is one of the founding principles of Freemasonry — the practical expression of brotherly love.

Every year, the lodges of the District Grand Lodge of Newfoundland and Labrador raise and contribute funds to causes across the province: children's hospitals, food banks, scholarships, disaster relief, and countless local community initiatives.

Our charitable work is carried out quietly and without expectation of recognition. It is funded entirely by the voluntary contributions of our members and by fundraising events hosted by individual lodges — many of which are open to the public.
