About Us

The District Grand Lodge of Newfoundland and Labrador unites the Scottish Constitution lodges of the province under the Grand Lodge of Scotland.

Freemasonry has been part of Newfoundland and Labrador's story since the nineteenth century. Today, eleven active lodges meet across the province — from St. John's and Mount Pearl to Harbour Grace, Carbonear, Bay Roberts, Heart's Content, Grand Falls-Windsor, Deer Lake, Conception Bay South, and Labrador City.

Our members are men of good character drawn from every walk of life, bound by a shared commitment to brotherly love, relief, and truth. Through ritual, fellowship, and charitable works, we strive to make good men better and to serve the communities in which we live.
